The Drunkard's Walk by Leonard Mlodinow

The subtitle is How Randomness Rules our Lives.

He says that most humans are designed to see patterns. So we over emphasize coincidences. He gives examples.

When you don't know the facts and are asked to guess the probability , remember that one action is MORE probable than THAT action coupled with another. I will offer a simple example. It is more probable that someone has blue eyes THAN blue eyes + blond hair.
